    Detective in political section of police headquarters in Dublin. Allowed Michael Collins to come in and review british files and intelligence for three months. The knowledge gleaned during these visits were great assetts to Collins during the black and tan war.

Unforunately he later turned into one of the free state's top hunters of Irish Republicans. He is not remembered well by Irish Republicans for these actions.
